Muffinn Tin Meal

Yogurt left over from this morning.  I added some sprinkles to spark his interest.  It seemed to work a little.  Yesterday he couldn't get enough of the oranges and today he didn't want any.  I think it may be because he tried to swallow his first one whole and it made him gag.....He loved the crackers and of course was very excited about the chocolate.  I think it was a success.

Muffinn Tin Meals

Lately I have been on some blogs that show off their Bento Box meals and muffin tin meals. Now I am crazy for all things Bento Box but they are way too expensive for my budget. So I decided to try out some muffin tin meals. I thought I had a small tin but I only could find the larger one. If was fun to make though.

Last night we had oranges, steak fries, little animal sandwiches and ketchup and some ranch.  I have a really picky 2 year old and it seamed to help get him to eat.  I tried it again today for lunch.

Elephant apples, bear cheese, ham, chips, fruit snacks, and fig newtons.
Its fun but it makes me want to spend a lot of money and get the bento boxes!

Leaf Wreath

So we have a big tree in our front yard and when I saw the new freshly fallen leaves on the ground a couple weeks ago it gave me and idea.  I was going to buy a pack of leaves from Hobby Lobby but I'm glad I didn't.    I gathered up some leaves, with the help of my precious Husband who hand picked some of them, and I started to pin them on to a foam wreath I had lying around.  The leaves weren't crunchy yet so it made it easy to pin them on.  I wrapped the wreath in burlap first then pinned on leaves until I liked the look and added an orange ribbon and a little tag I had in my stash.  I wish it said give thanks but this was all I had.   I think it works.

A free wreath?  Yes please!

Baby Shower

I took the pictures before I put the food on the table.  I served Tomato Soup and Tortilla Soup in the warmer trays with different toppings in the serving tray at the front.  I put some store bought cookies in the jars with animal tags hanging from the lids.   It was a shower for a baby boy so I did an animal theme that was inspired by the onsies I got to hang over the table.

Halloween Decorating

I got some of my Halloween decorating done!  I would like to do more but the dollar store ran out of the decorations I wanted and I can't afford much else!  Haha.  I did manage to scoop up a crow before they were all gone and I'm so glad I did!  I made a Halloween banner out of felt that I already had.   I just hand cut and stitched the letters and made some ghost to go on the sides.  I'm pretty happy with the turn out!  I'm linking to The Stories of A to Z Halloween mantel linky party!  You should come join the fun!!

Can I have a room like this?

My husband and I have talked about adding onto our home some day.  I would LOVE to have a big room that looks like this!  So colorful and inviting!
