Summer shelf

This is the set up for the shelf I have in the entry room of my home. I hate to think about changing it for fall because I have loved it so much.

New wreath

So since I got sick of looking at our Easter wreath (that was on our door till mid July) I decided it was time to make a new wreath.  I just put the finishing touches on it today though. What do you think? At first I thought it was too simple but now I love the simplicity with the blue door.

Wedding Rings

I had to do a lesson in our church on marriage. Here are some little treats I made for the girls. I just took doughtnuts and put plastic wedding rings at the top to make a giant wedding ring.he girls really seemed to like it.

A little something

Here is a peek at a super quick project I did today. I made it to go in my bedroom.  I have been making over the bedroom over the last few months and I have a few more things to ad before its all done.  Here is a little bunting I made.  More pics to follow.

Lost In Thought

I ran across a blog recently of someone I know.  It was lovely.  Inspiring really. You know those people who make you want to be your best self? Achieve the things you know you can achieve by you let yourself hold you back?  Self doubt is so exhausting.  I don't know why I need to think so much before I do things.  One moment I feel so inspired to do something I have always wanted to do and the next moment I am totally distraught by all my weaknesses and telling myself all of the reasons why I shouldn't.  I need to make some changes.  I am in such a slump lately and I am in dire need to feel successful in some way.  I want to go to sleep at night feeling I got the most out of my day.  Be that in the quality time I spent with my son, or the time I spent in making my house beautiful and clean, working to accomplish and goal, or just learning something new.   I just need to be more.  That is all.

Little Guy Tie

These are some pretty bad pics but I finally made my little boy a tie. He looks so cute with it on. I pln on making a bunch more. Maybe even putting some in my shop. We'll see.
